Aims & Objectives:

The main aim of the home is to provide a caring, comfortable home environment where all residents are able to develop to their full potential without unnecessary restrictions and institutional type rules and regulations.

All residents have 24 hour care package, which identifies their daily needs and routines. Theses are carefully followed and regularly monitored and reviewed to meet their changing needs.

Each resident is encouraged to contribute in the daily running of their home to the best of their ability. They all have tasks which they are able to carry out with help or support from staff, over the years they have developed skills which they did not have when they first came to live at the Rosamar.

The residents help keep their rooms tidy, make and change their beds; staff support is given if required, wash dishes, empty bins, lay and clear the tables. All these tasks are important in the helping the residents to develop a scene of purpose and responsibility.
